By creating an account, accessing, or using the MyGoalBook™ application (the “App”) and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services. You confirm your acceptance by checking the agreement checkbox during account registration. Continued use of the Services after updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
MyGoalBook is a personal productivity and self-development application that provides: • Goal tracking across five life areas (Work, Family, Vitality, Finances, Personal Growth) • Habit building with flexible frequency tracking and streak monitoring • AI-powered coaching conversations for goal-setting guidance and reflection • Notes and reflections for capturing insights and progress • Calendar planning for mapping goals to deadlines • Progress reports and visual analytics • Vision goals for long-term aspirations The Services are available on iOS, Android, and web platforms.
The Services are designed for personal productivity and self-development only. Nothing in MyGoalBook — including AI-generated coaching responses, suggested goals, habit recommendations, or reflective prompts — constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other form of professional advice. • MyGoalBook is NOT a medical, therapeutic, counseling, legal, or financial service. • MyGoalBook is NOT a crisis service and is not designed to address emergencies. • No professional-client, therapist-patient, doctor-patient, attorney-client, or advisor-advisee relationship is created. • Do not submit protected health information (PHI) or other regulated data. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services (911) or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988).
You must be at least 13 years of age to use MyGoalBook. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you may only use the Services with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. The Services are currently offered in the United States. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
To use MyGoalBook, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You agree to: • Provide accurate and complete registration information. • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. • Notify us immediately at support@ourodysea.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. • Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. OurOdysea LLC is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.
You agree not to: • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users or OurOdysea staff. • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity. • Upload, post, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights. • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other user accounts, or our systems. • Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks. • Use the Services to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content. • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services. • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Services without written permission.
You retain full ownership of all content you create within MyGoalBook, including your goals, habits, notes, reflections, and coaching messages (“User Content”). By using the Services, you grant OurOdysea LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the Services. This license terminates when you delete your account. We do not claim ownership of your User Content. We do not use your User Content for advertising or sell it to third parties.
We reserve the right to: • Review and remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws. • Suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited conduct. • Cooperate with law enforcement when required by law. Reports of Terms violations are reviewed within 24 hours when possible. We will notify affected users of enforcement actions taken on their accounts.
MyGoalBook offers premium features through paid subscriptions. Free Trial: New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription. Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Platform-Specific Billing: • iOS: Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. To cancel, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device. • Android: Subscriptions are managed through Google Play. Payment is charged to your Google Play account. To cancel, go to Google Play > Subscriptions. • Web: Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. To cancel, go to Settings within the App. Refunds: Refund policies are governed by the respective platform (Apple, Google, or Stripe). Contact the platform directly for refund requests. Promo Codes: Promotional codes may be offered for free access periods. Promo codes are subject to their own terms, including expiration dates and usage limits. Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified of price changes before your next billing period. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
If you access MyGoalBook through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the following additional terms apply: • These Terms are between you and OurOdysea LLC, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. • Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content. • Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. • In the event of any failure of the App to conform to applicable warranties, Apple or Google’s sole obligation (if any) is limited to refunding the purchase price of the App. • Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property infringement claims. • Apple and Google, and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple and Google will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as third-party beneficiaries. • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
All content, features, and functionality of MyGoalBook — including but not limited to the app design, interface, graphics, icons, text, software code, and the MyGoalBook name and logo — are owned by OurOdysea LLC or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services without written permission from OurOdysea LLC.
MyGoalBook uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI) to provide coaching-style responses and suggestions. Before any data is sent to OpenAI, you must provide explicit consent through the in-app AI consent prompt. By granting consent and using the AI coaching feature, you acknowledge and agree that: • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific situation. • AI responses are generated by automated systems and have not been reviewed by licensed professionals or OurOdysea staff. • You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for important life decisions. • Your coaching messages and relevant context (goals, habits, notes) are sent to OpenAI for processing, as described in our Privacy Policy. • OurOdysea LLC makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content. The AI coaching feature is optional and requires your explicit consent. You may grant or revoke AI data sharing consent at any time in Settings. Revoking consent immediately stops all data sharing with OpenAI. Your goals, habits, notes, and other app features function independently of the AI coach.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. OurOdysea LLC does not warrant that: • The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. • The results obtained from the Services will be accurate or reliable. • Any errors in the Services will be corrected. MyGoalBook is a personal productivity and self-development tool. It is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OURODYSEA LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OurOdysea LLC’s total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the total amount paid by you to OurOdysea LLC in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OurOdysea LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: • Your use of the Services. • Your violation of these Terms. • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity. • Any User Content you create or submit through the Services.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in the State of North Carolina. • Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis. Class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted. • The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding. • Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights. Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to support@ourodysea.com within 30 days of creating your account. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
You may terminate your account at any time by using the Delete Account feature in Settings or by emailing support@ourodysea.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if: • You violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct. • Your account shows no activity for an extended period (with prior notice). • We are required to do so by law. Upon termination: • Your right to use the Services immediately ceases. • Your User Content will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy (Section 7). • Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe to avoid continued billing. • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Arbitration).
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes: • We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms. • We will notify you through an in-app notification or via the email address associated with your account. • Continued use of the Services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services and delete your account.
You agree to comply with all applicable U.S. export control laws and sanctions regulations. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Assignment: OurOdysea LLC may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and OurOdysea LLC regarding the Services. No Waiver: The failure of OurOdysea LLC to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Force Majeure: OurOdysea LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, or other force majeure events.
